Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Research Manager for Consumer Marketing, you will be a research professional responsible for developing a scalable B2C market research strategy to support our consumer marketing efforts across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be focused on equipping the Marketing organization with consumer insights and data-driven recommendations that answer our key business questions. Your research will improve the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and inform future marketing strategy.

You understand consumers, have analytical horsepower, sound business judgment and can define and prioritize research projects that guide marketing strategy and execution. You have experience driving the design and implementation of quantitative & qualitative studies and constructing innovative marketing experiments. You will also support research stakeholders from Marketing, Finance and Poduct teams, as well as manage relationships with external research agencies.
